Finding the right reference

I should have the first six pages of "L'ange" roughed in today. And no I'm not going to post more of those... they don't look that great and my time is better spent, but... I did find a reference shot for the uniforms of the 101st ABN DIV that defended Bastogne.

I'm not super obsessive about details, and much will be obscured by shadows, but the right details, such as the angled breast pockets, and the white spade on the helmet etc can make a world of difference in suggested the reality of a place.

  1. Bravo for that extra effort...We military history buffs always approve of accurate details, which do indeed add subtle credibility to the story.
